We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a 111 Call Handler/Operator at South Central Ambulance Service NHS. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will be responsible for answering calls from members of the public and providing them with the necessary support and guidance.

• Answer and respond to incoming 111 calls in a calm and professional manner
• Assess the needs of patients and implement the appropriate response, including dispatching an ambulance or providing basic advice
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless communication and effective patient care

• Good all-round education, including 2 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, or equivalent demonstrable experience
• Customer service experience, preferably in a telephone or face-to-face role
• Basic computer literacy and ability to use IT systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
