Maintenance Technologist

At Rubicon People Partnership, we're seeking a skilled Maintenance Technologist to play a key role in supporting the maintenance of production machinery and general site infrastructure.

As a Maintenance Technologist, you'll oversee planned, preventative maintenance, reducing machinery downtime as well as reactive maintenance on any machinery breakdowns. Your goals will include:

• Implementing a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule for production machinery across the site.
  
• Providing technical engineering support to the manufacturing team.
  
• Coordinating maintenance activities with colleagues and external contractors.
  
• Managing departmental resources and costs.
  
• Completion and communication of reporting and tracking documentation.
  

The successful Maintenance Technologist will be able to demonstrate:

• 
  
• Experience undertaking maintenance activities on machinery, particularly heavy manufacturing equipment such as press-breaks, guillotines etc.
  
• The ability to maintain accurate PPMs and service records.
  
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical safety systems.
  
• An understanding of health and safety documentation.
