About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Banking professional to join our team in London. As a Vice President, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with corporate and financial institution clients, working across different products, and executing deals and transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary client point of contact and lead banker on deals
  • Review and coordinate the analytic work of junior bankers to move the marketing/execution process forward
  • Experience in training junior bankers
  • Refine marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact
  • Oversee the creation of financial projection models
  • Identify and manage all risks in a given deal
  • Liaise with other internal and external parties on transactions
  • Lead client negotiations, Q&A process, and management interviews
  • Provide clients with UK market advice in relation to the UK Listing Rules and Takeover Code
Requirements
  • Prior experience in Investment Banking or transactions, with EPRM sector-specific and UK market experience strongly preferred
  • Very strong financial modelling/valuation and analytical skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, energetic, and decisive, with a high level of integrity
  • Strong leadership, as well as people and project management skills
  • Able to communicate concepts and ideas both verbally and via documentation, to and be able to defend their validity
  • A relationship builder, who can establish trust and credibility with clients and the broader J.P. Morgan franchise
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, and have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and to develop innovative solutions
  • Candidate needs to be adaptable, able to manage projects independently, and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner
  • Outstanding ethics, integrity, and judgment
  • Excellent understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks in today's environment
