Warehouse Operative Job Description

Gap Personnel is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join their team in Kettering. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for assisting with goods-in, stock control, and delivery notes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick products/orders accurately and efficiently, meeting established targets.
  • Move stock around the warehouse using VNA and forklift equipment.
  • Load and unload goods as required, ensuring quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct quality checks on orders and maintain accurate records of inventory and activities.
  • Support the production and goods-out teams, adhering to health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse picking environment is essential.
  • VNA experience and any kind of forklift license, with conversion possible on site.
  • Strong practical skills and understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Good numeracy skills, with counting being a critical part of this role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong team player attitude.
