We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Children's Nurse to join our team in the Women's and Children's Research Unit at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will work closely with our research team to support the delivery of high-quality clinical research studies in paediatrics. This will involve working with Principal Investigators to set up and deliver clinical trials and non-interventional NIHR portfolio trials across various paediatric clinical specialities.
The post holder will be based in the Education Centre but will be part of the wider Women's and Children's Research Unit team, working collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in paediatrics and a passion for research, with a focus on embedding research within clinical practice.
Main Responsibilities- Support the safe conduct of all research, including clinical trials, in accordance with regulatory and legal frameworks
- Work closely with Principal Investigators to set up and deliver clinical trials and non-interventional NIHR portfolio trials
- Provide education and training to clinical staff on the specifics of running clinical trials
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Trust to deliver high-quality research studies
- Registered Nurse (Child) with current NMC registration
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Teaching qualification
- Undergraduate degree in Nursing, Science or Health-related discipline
- Immunisation and Vaccine training
