HCRG Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced General Practitioner with Aviation Medicine expertise to join our team. As a key member of our Staff Bank, you will provide primary and secondary healthcare services to military personnel and their families at various locations throughout the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking primary healthcare clinics for military personnel and entitled individuals
  • Conducting examinations and occupational health assessments within your scope of experience and qualification
  • Informing the local medical authority of any cases that may affect a serviceman's ability to perform their duties
  • Completing reports and documentation in accordance with MOD policy or government department requirements
  • Attending individual management reviews or case conferences as required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) on the main register and GMC GP Register without Restrictions
  • A Diploma in Aviation Medicine or completion of the RAF Military Aviation Medicine Examiner (MAME) Course
  • A current, satisfactory annual appraisal in line with GMC's Good Medical Practice (GMP)
  • Up-to-date certification for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Safeguarding Adults up to and including Level 3 training
