About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide individualized support and implement strategies that promote positive behavior and wellbeing. You will be responsible for providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs, implementing strategies and interventions to support their social and emotional development, and collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies to address specific needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and assess the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar Teaching Assistant role is advantageous
  • Empathy and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEMH needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents
  • Knowledge of relevant SEMH strategies and interventions
