As a Biomarker Data Specialist at the University of Cambridge, you will play a crucial role in developing research objectives for analysis of univariate and multivariate biomarker candidates. You will also be responsible for leading the statistical analysis and data management for multivariate biomarkers using novel biochemical assays.

The successful candidate will work on a 5 million funded project collecting and analyzing blood samples from over 3000 people across the UK. They will work closely with a balanced team of professionals and external collaborators, including biochemical laboratory facilities like the Biomarker Factory at the Dementia Research Institute.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics and related research methods and applications. They should also have experience with machine learning algorithms and strong programming skills using platforms like MATLAB, R, Bash, and Python. The salary for this role is £45,000-£65,000 per annum.
