Trade Counter Assistant/Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Trade Counter Assistant/Driver to join our team at a reputable Plastics company in Hounslow. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service, supporting the Branch Manager, and ensuring excellence in customer service and operational standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to customers in the trade counter, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Branch Support: Assist the Branch Manager with actions and activities, including supporting the delivery of sales targets and developing positive customer relationships.
  3. Operational Excellence: Ensure that all operational standards are met, including maintaining accurate records, managing stock levels, and conducting regular stock checks.
  4. Delivery and Logistics: Drive a 3.5t sprinter van to complete deliveries, ensuring that all goods are delivered safely and on time.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: Previous experience within a similar role, preferably in the trade counter or building trade industry.
  2. Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a full driving license.
