About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Accounts Associate to join our Finance Shared Service Centre in Nottinghamshire. As an Accounts Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting our Finance team in processing Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control, and cashiering duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day workings of the Accounts department, including processing paperwork, allocating payments, and answering queries.
  • Take care of Purchase Ledger duties, including liaising with suppliers and processing purchase invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Undertake Sales Ledger duties, including basic debt control and recovery, as well as processing and allocating warranty credits and manufacturer bonus credits.

Requirements

  • Experience in an accounts department, preferably in Purchase and Sales Ledger, or a strong interest in developing a career in accountancy.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working with Microsoft Excel.
