We are seeking a Teacher Aide to join our team at beBee Professionals in Wellingborough, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing classrooms during teacher absences and ensuring students remain engaged in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies.
  • Provide feedback to the teaching staff on the progress of students.
  • Support students with their learning when necessary.
  • Ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Assist with administrative duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
  • Patience and a positive attitude toward supporting students.
  • Flexibility to work on short notice when required.
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
