Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at SQ Partners. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing detailed electrical designs for control panels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in electrical design, specifically in control panels and automation machinery. They will also have strong proficiency with Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical and experience in project leadership and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

The estimated salary for this role is £45-50k + Overtime (Circa £70/75k).

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented and experienced Electrical Design Engineer who can lead and manage electrical design projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control Panel Design: Develop detailed electrical designs for control panels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Modifications & Upgrades: Perform modifications and updates to existing control panels, improving functionality and efficiency.
  • Testing: Conduct thorough testing of control panels to ensure all systems are functioning optimally.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage electrical design projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
  • Software Tools: Utilize Eplan or AutoCAD Electrical to design and document control systems.
