Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager

About the Role
Canonical is seeking a highly skilled Silicon Alliances Ecosystem Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Silicon Alliances Team, you will work closely with leading semiconductor companies to drive open source adoption and innovative optimizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of silicon partner strategies, technologies, and roadmaps, identifying overlap with Canonical's current and future products.
- Represent Canonical, its solutions, and software to partners, working cross-functionally with engineering, product, marketing, and sales teams to facilitate new business.
- Ensure robust project plans are created, tracked, and executed, developing joint Go To Market strategy and campaigns with silicon partners.
- Negotiate successful contracts, leveraging your excellent communication skills and ability to grasp complex material.
Requirements
- B.A / B.S / B.E degree in science, technology, and/or engineering.
- Fundamental understanding of the semiconductor industry and ecosystem.
- Experience in software and system architecture is preferred, as well as customer-facing experience in business development, technology strategy, or similar functions.
