Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Lancaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled and planned maintenance repairs of equipment, as well as emergency/unscheduled repairs of mill equipment during unplanned shutdowns.

Job Description:

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Performing scheduled and planned maintenance repairs of equipment
  • Repairing electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic devices
  • Performing preventative maintenance on machines and equipment throughout the mill
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems related to electrical failure
  • Installing cables, conduit, for new equipment or replacing old one
  • Collaborating with other team members to resolve problems and determine the roots cause
  • Reading and using all types of electrical schematic wiring diagrams
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1-2 years experience ideally in a manufacturing background
  • Experience in electro-mechanical maintenance background in a large-scale heavy industrial manufacturing environment
  • Relevant qualification, NVQ, Diploma, Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 18th Edition advantageous
