EC&I Team Leader / Supervisor

Astute's Power team is seeking an experienced EC&I Team Leader / Supervisor to join the maintenance department of a large Energy from Waste plant in Kent. This plant produces up to 45MW of Power by processing up to 550,000 tonnes of waste per year, typically destined for landfill.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure maximum plant availability.
  2. Assist in delivering the overall maintenance & engineering strategy, implementing new maintenance techniques & approaches, and managing the EC&I budget.
  3. Work with the Maintenance Planner and Mechanical Team Leader to allocate and deliver work, and develop the site's CMMS.
  4. Lead the EC&I team during planned outages, manage specialist contractors on site.
  5. Ensure all activities are carried out safely, in line with company safety policies, safety rules, and relevant H&S legislation.
  6. Ideal candidate will have SAP / Senior Authorised Person for HV activities.
  7. IOSH / NEBOSH or similar H&S qualification.
Requirements:
  1. Proven supervisory / management experience from an Energy from Waste plant or similar Process Industry.
  2. Experience in maintaining and working on various instrumentation, electrical, and control system equipment.
  3. Contract management experience.
  4. Experience of maintenance techniques including vibration analysis, laser alignment, thermography, oil analysis.
