
Project Risk Manager

**Job Description:**
The Football Association is seeking a skilled Project Risk Manager to join its FA Learning division. This exciting opportunity is for a 9-month fixed-term contract.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of learning and innovation activity by managing projects and risks. The role ensures that project objectives align with business demands while mitigating risk to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Manage strategic priority projects: Digital System Transition and qualification design within the learning and innovation (L&I) team.
- Manage risk across strategic and core learning activity: Ensure potential challenges are identified and mitigated proactively.
- Work closely with the Head of and Senior Leads in L&I: Deliver high-priority projects and mitigate risk.
- Track and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle: Provide solutions for risk mitigation.
- Assess and evaluate project and resource requirements: Align with business demands.
- Monitor and report risk trends: To the Strategy, Data and Insights team.
- Comply with company policies and procedures: Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and well-being.
Essential Requirements:
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks.
- Knowledge of financial reporting within a project context.
Desirable Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in risk management.
- Experience negotiating and managing project budgets.
