Job Title: Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team at Total Resourcing Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing contract and procurement support throughout the lifecycle of a contract for multi-faceted projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide commercial and contractual expertise to project managers to assess, review, and mitigate commercial and contractual risk during delivery.
  • Ensure contract requirements are adhered to and provide guidance on contract matters during the contract delivery phase.
  • Act as the lead for all commercial and contractual discussions with clients and suppliers during contract delivery.
  • Prepare and submit early warnings and compensation events, as well as contract variations, in accordance with NEC-CM2AR.
  • Lead the resolution of any commercial issues related to rates and payment, and support project financial progress reporting and monthly payment applications.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in contract management in a technical consultancy/engineering industry environment.
  • Significant experience of working with NEC3 contracts, including Professional Services (PSC) and Engineering Construction Contract (ECC).
  • Procurement experience in multifaceted procurements and contracts.
  • Strong experience and proven track record of contract and supplier management.
  • Proven track record of working across projects to tight deadlines.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in the UK nuclear industry.
  • 5+ years of NEC experience.
  • Experience of working across multiple projects in differing locations.
  • Proven track record of working well under pressure, to tight deadlines.
