We are looking for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the Northeast and York areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing generator sets, heat transfer equipment, and gas systems.

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of generator sets, heat transfer equipment, and gas systems.
  • Leading the overhaul of reciprocating generator sets, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Responding to breakdowns and performing planned maintenance with minimal downtime.
  • Collaborating with the Engineering and Management team to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on generator maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, heat, and mechanical systems, including electric control systems (12v DC - 415v AC 30).
  • Gassafe accreditation or ability to complete within probation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Full Driving Licence.
Package Details
  • A competitive salary of £41,600, with an OTE of £48k.
  • Call-out rota payment circa £2k.
  • 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.
