Procurement Manager Job Description

At ARC Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Manage and lead the procurement team, including the Warehouse Controller and Procurement Assistant, to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
  2. Procurement Oversight: Oversee the procurement of goods, materials, and services, ensuring compliance with company standards for quality, quantity, and timely delivery.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and other internal teams to fulfill operational needs and ensure seamless supply chain management.
  4. Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, conduct negotiations, and explore new supply chain opportunities to drive cost savings and efficiency.
  5. Cost Management: Conduct detailed analysis of client and supplier spending, assist with cost forecasting, and implement cost reduction strategies to optimize procurement processes.
  6. Administrative Tasks: Manage administrative tasks, including maintaining procurement records, updating CRM systems, and handling internal and external inquiries.
  7. Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards, and promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  8. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and a valid manual driver's license.
  9. Personal Qualities: Flexible, with strong problem-solving abilities and a high level of personal integrity, committed to continuous learning and professional development.
