About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensive Care Consultant to join our dynamic team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Critical Care department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Critical Care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our Critical Care services
  • Participate in teaching and training of junior medical staff
  • Engage in quality improvement and service development activities
Requirements
  • CCT/CESR holder in Intensive Care Medicine or within 6 months of CCT at time of interview
  • CCT/CESR holder in Allied Specialty (Anaesthesia/Acute Medicine/Respiratory Medicine/Emergency Medicine) or within 6 months of CCT at time of interview
  • Advanced training and mastery of additional skills relevant to ICU practice
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
