About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Herb Assistant. As a key member of our packing operations, you will be responsible for assisting in the production and dispatch of fresh herbs and produce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the booking in of products and items used within the business
  • Check the quality of products upon intake and during storage
  • Produce labels and traceability codes
  • Manage stocks and run products to the production lines
  • Ensure continued hygiene of the area and organize waste lines
  • Assist in the checking off of finished products and coordination of drivers and vans to meet customer deadlines
  • Label printing for the production teams and checking of temperatures of finished products
  • Packing of products as per customer requirements and spinning products in the drying machines to ensure excessive water is removed

Requirements

  • Ambitious and willing to learn
  • Good attention to detail and high working standards
  • Confident in your own abilities and willing to work well under pressure
  • Team Player/leader and own transport essential
