About the Role:


This Field Service Maintenance Engineer position requires leading equipment-related maintenance and improvement activities across Compounding sites. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment availability, reliability, and capability are continuously improved.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Demonstrate a safety-first approach in all aspects of the role
  • Lead trouble shooting, fault finding & resolution to root cause of compounding-related plant and equipment
  • Plan and direct shutdowns, inclusive of shutdown and start-up activities
  • Focus on reliability of plant and equipment, ensuring continuous improvement of plant availability & OEE metrics
  • Deliver best-in-class equipment availability and reliability through reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance techniques
  • Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of critical equipment
  • Develop and implement Preventative Maintenance procedures & schedules to ensure equipment availability and reliability

Requirements:



  • Cleanroom/aseptic manufacturing practical work experience
  • Technical understanding of cleanroom plant and associated equipment
  • Excellent communication, people, and computer literacy skills
  • Experience operating within maintenance and project engineering functions
  • Knowledge of implementation of continuous improvement activities
  • Knowledge of implementation of engineering best practices

What We Offer:


As a Maintenance Engineer at Baxter, you can expect a competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.


Working with Us:


You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering Management, Unit Managers, Operations, Validation, Quality Management, and Production Staff. This role involves frequent travel to Compounding sites across the UK and Europe.
