Liberty Steel Group is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Lifting Equipment Inspector to join the Engineering Services department. This role involves inspecting and repairing lifting equipment to ensure safe working practices across the business.

The Role
- We are looking for a highly motivated individual with good knowledge of safe working procedures and recognised safety practices.
- The ideal candidate should have LEEA Advanced programme Training Certification or equivalent experience in the Lifting Equipment Inspection & Repair industry.
- Experience of carrying out inspections on lifting equipment, including chains, slings, shackles, manual/powered hoists, lifting beams, and runway beams.
- Good knowledge of inspection techniques and general engineering principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Working Pattern
The working pattern is Monday to Friday days with alternative week Saturday & Sunday days working with days off midweek, with opportunity for occasional overtime working for which a premium is paid.
