We are seeking a reliable Sanitation Specialist to provide top-quality cleanliness standards across the Sandwell Borough.

As part of our borough-wide cleaning service, you will perform various cleaning tasks in communal areas of high and low-rise blocks, sheltered housing schemes, and employee welfare facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing internal and external cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, buffing floors, wiping down walls, cleaning windows, door frames, entryways, internal doors, lifts, and more.
  • Working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team to complete tasks as directed by Estate Services Managers or Supervisors.

You will be expected to be flexible and work anywhere within the Sandwell Borough. Our ideal candidate will possess basic knowledge of cleaning techniques.

The salary for this position is estimated at £26 per hour, with Sandwell Council paying all employees the current Living Wage rate as a minimum.
