We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Control Specialist to join our Logistics team at TD SYNNEX. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the release of outbound pick volume and targeted replenishment work to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify and eliminate problems preventing orders from being released on time.
- Coordinate with the Operations team to ensure timely closure of all outbound freight carrier transactional requirements.
- Produce and distribute reports linked to site workload, productivity, headcount, and KPIs to relevant parties.
- Monitor conveyor performance and notify engineers of any problems impacting operation/customer SLAs.
- Liaise with warehouse supervisors and team leaders to maximize efficiency through people and resource allocation.
- Deal with operator and carrier implant queries to minimize downtime.
- Identify opportunities for system and process improvements to enhance performance standards.
- Liaise with Sales and Customer Services teams to address customer queries.
- Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders via radio and phone.
- Support training new/less experienced team members on SAP and WMS systems.
- Detailed understanding of Logistics processes.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems, SAP, and EWM.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook and Excel.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in logistics/operations.
- Knowledge of databases and Analysis for Business (AfB) is an advantage.
