Abattoir Operations Trainee

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Abattoir Operations Trainee at Pilgrim's Europe - Spalding site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking carcass dressing tasks with the use of knives and equipment.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 06:30am to 16:00pm, including 2 breaks. You will be required to work in our Abattoir Department, ensuring product is processed according to customer specifications and meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Undertake carcass dressing tasks with the use of knives and equipment.
2. Ensure product is processed according to customer specifications.
3. Meet production deadlines.
4. Seek training to maintain skills and remain up to date with best practice.
5. Work as part of a team and take responsibility for own work.
6. Comply with Company policies, Animal Welfare, H&S and Food Safety Standards at all times.
