Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Catering Manager to join our team at CH&CO. As a Catering Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our catering services, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food experiences to our customers. **Key Responsibilities:**

* Prepare delicious food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all menu items
* Supervise culinary and catering teams, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless delivery of food and customer service
* Oversee the efficiency of in-unit catering operations, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans as needed
* Communicate regularly with line managers to monitor KPIs and targets, driving business growth and excellence
* Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image, showcasing our values and commitment to quality
* Identify opportunities for new food or service concepts to drive sales and revenue growth
* Liaise between customers and culinary/service teams to exceed expectations and build strong relationships
* Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel in their role

**Requirements:**

* Minimum 2 years of catering experience, preferably in a similar role or industry
* Experience managing teams, with a proven track record of success and leadership
* NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2 certification, with a Basic Food Hygiene certificate
* Excellent financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and make informed decisions
* Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
