We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in the Preston area. As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex care needs, such as cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, and scoliosis.

The ideal candidate will have experience in complex care and be able to work collaboratively as part of a team. You will be responsible for providing support with daily living tasks, such as personal care, housekeeping, and companionship, as well as communicating effectively with the individual and other team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support with daily living tasks, such as personal care, housekeeping, and companionship
  • Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members
  • Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy
  • Adhere to care plans and guidelines provided
  • Aid with light household chores, such as cooking and cleaning
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in complex care
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
  • Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs
