Job Title: Freelance Interpreter - Multilingual Communication Specialist

About the Role:

We are recruiting freelance interpreters to provide high-quality interpretation services to various public and private sector clients across the UK. As a multilingual communication specialist, you will be responsible for interpreting in different settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other organizations.

Language Empire is a well-established company that provides professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors. We have been offering our services in the UK for over 20 years, covering hundreds of languages and dialects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services
  2. Ensuring the accurate communication of information between service users and providers
  3. Liaising with clients to understand their needs and requirements
  4. Working independently as a self-employed interpreter

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and another language
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications in interpreting or translation, such as DPSI or a degree in languages
