About the Role

Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in providing exceptional care to patients in our inpatient units. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering and coordinating care to a named group of patients, working effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary team, and promoting recognized policies, protocols, and guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, prioritizing individual needs and preferences
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to achieve unit and trust goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring patient-centered and evidence-based practice
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and supportive team culture
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes

Person Specification

  • Registered Nurse on the appropriate part of the NMC Register
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to maintain and improve standards of care
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current clinical and professional issues
