We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst to join our client\u2019s fast-paced and rapidly growing business in Edinburgh, UK. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Engineering and Head of Security, reporting directly to them. The role involves working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment, with a focus on security operations, incident response, and threat analysis.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a SOC environment and be proficient in tools such as Splunk, SIEM, and AWS. They will also have a strong understanding of security concepts, including intrusion detection, endpoint detection and response, and use case creation and development.

This is a permanent position, with a generous pension scheme in place. The role will be mostly remote, with occasional team meetings and events requiring attendance at the Edinburgh office. All locations in the UK will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment
  • Conduct security operations, incident response, and threat analysis
  • Collaborate with the Head of Engineering and Head of Security
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends

Requirements:
