Job Title

A Senior Financial Analyst is required for a major offshore wind developer based in England.

Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will develop, implement and maintain the financial model for the project's business case.
  • Sensitivity analyses on configurations and scenarios will be performed.
  • Model-related documentation and databases will be prepared and maintained.
  • Proactive support and guidance will be provided to engineering, procurement, commercial, finance and management functions during cost, assumption and model input development.
  • Recommendations will be made to the project's senior management team.
  • Input into configuration, change and award decisions will be given.
  • Documentation will be prepared for and presented to senior leadership teams and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Internal and external stakeholder meetings will be attended.

Requirements

  • A degree qualification in business, finance, commerce or a comparable discipline is required.
  • At least three years of professional experience in a similar function as analyst or modeller are necessary.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial modelling functions, tools and methods is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS Excel, and other relevant software packages is required.
  • Experience in project finance is desired.
  • Offshore and/or energy infrastructure project experience is preferred.
  • An excellent understanding of complex tasks, ability to work autonomously with great rigour and precision is required.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage own workload, meet timescales are necessary.
  • Ability to work as a member of a large, multidisciplinary team is required.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
