About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Associate to join our team at Berenberg. As a key member of our Talent Acquisition department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the hiring process for our Graduates, Interns, and Experienced Hires.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a consultant to Hiring Managers on the entire recruitment process, from creating job descriptions to determining sourcing channels and interview processes.
  • Manage candidate queries and coordinate interviews, providing candidates with feedback and managing rejections.
  • Proactively drive direct sourcing through multiple recruiting channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter and external job sites.
  • Collaborate with the wider international recruitment team on projects, such as continuous improvements to the recruiting system and updates to the Berenberg careers website.
  • Participate in recruitment events and job fairs to network with potential candidates and select universities.
  • Assist with interviewing and screening of applications during peak times.
Requirements
  • A passion for Talent Acquisition, built on a foundation of experience recruiting within financial services.
  • Attention to detail and experience of delivering a high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience managing a high interview volume or graduate recruitment role would be an advantage.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Experience using an ATS preferred, with knowledge of Avature a significant advantage.
