Senior Planning Consultant

ADAS, a leading provider of ecological, arboricultural, archaeological, planning, and landscape services, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Consultant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be based in the Leeds office and will work on a hybrid basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in town and country planning, with a formal qualification in the field (Masters/Postgraduate/First Degree) and full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute or eligibility for full Chartered Membership. They will also have relevant experience and skills, preferably within the private sector, and excellent knowledge and experience of town and country planning regulations and processes.
The Senior Planning Consultant will be responsible for providing planning consultancy services to public, private, and third-sector clients, managing planning projects to a high standard, reviewing and commenting on technical reports, preparing planning applications, and liaising with technical consultants, statutory consultees, and planning officers.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to present at planning committees and public consultation events.
