Production and Engineering Apprenticeship

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production and Engineering Apprentice to join our team at Jackson Hogg Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic growth of the PE department, focusing on lean production, and ensuring adherence to established production standards.
Key Responsibilities- Resource planning and management within the designated area.
- Strategic growth of the PE department, focusing on lean production, in collaboration with the Production Manager.
- Ensuring adherence to established production standards, including reporting KPIs to Business Units and Corporate Units.
- Creation and management of master data for bills of materials, material masters, routings, work centres, and equipment.
- Establishment of master data for creating bills of materials and work plans.
- Analysis of discrepancies between production and the ERP system, and development of suitable action plans.
- Support for Continuous Improvement Projects.
- Development of action plans to improve key performance indicators.
- Several years of professional engineering experience in a related role.
- Holds a qualification at a minimum of HNC level (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
