Site Manager Trainee

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team for a traditional build project in Colchester. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in site management and be familiar with health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager in the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring smooth operations
- Monitor progress, check materials, and ensure quality control on-site
- Conduct site inductions and ensure all workers adhere to safety protocols
- Support the Site Manager with scheduling, inspections, and reporting progress to senior management
Requirements:
- Proven experience in traditional build housing
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role is desirable
- Strong knowledge of health & safety standards in the construction environment
