About the Role:This is a genuine permanent opportunity to join our established engineering team in South Wirral. As an Industrial Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial recycled glass processing equipment.
Main Responsibilities:- Carry out all work within company Health and Safety procedures and systems.
- Assist with reviewing existing and creating new Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Perform general maintenance duties, both proactive and reactive.
- Welding (stick and MIG).
- Complete set work and preventative maintenance routines as required.
- Carry out process improvements works.
- Work using own initiative and as part of a team.
- 5+ years of experience in plant fitting and maintenance in an industrial environment.
- Excellent understanding and commitment to safe working practices.
- Able to operate Telehandler and MEWP equipment.
- Good communication and multi-skilled knowledge range (Electrical & Mechanical).
- High standard of design and fabrication skills.
- Able to work autonomously.
- Strong understanding of Engineering drawings and ability to fabricate.
This role involves working in a large workshop with welding bay and fabrication equipment. You will be expected to work a rotating 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
