This exciting opportunity is part of our Intelligent Asset Management Team, where you'll play a key role in providing technical support for OE Contracts and aftermarket sections of Wabtec UK & Sisco's.

About the Role

As a Product Support Engineer/Assessor, you'll be responsible for conducting required support for our customers and products at both Wabtec UK sites and customer locations.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that Wabtec UK products and services meet our customers' expectations throughout their life cycle, and our services are delivered safely, efficiently, and consistently by trained and competent team members.

You'll work closely with the Project Management team to deliver projects within budget and on time, while also ensuring that all materials, parts, drawings, tooling, fixtures, and test equipment are fit for purpose and available prior to commencement of a job.

  • Carry out modification programs on Company products as defined by Wabtec UK & Sisco's.
  • Work with the Operations Manager to implement changes to the Field Service Competency Management system as required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct health and safety management processes, including 2MW, POWRA, and Red Flag, using IT systems for reporting.
  • Ensure investigations and reports on failed or defective components are carried out in line with policies and procedures in a timely manner.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with current and potential customers to maintain the reputation of the company as a world-class supplier of railway equipment and systems.
  • Identify revenue opportunities and report them to the Operations Manager, especially regarding customer training opportunities.
