B1 Licensed Aircraft Technician

- This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of aircraft, working as part of the easyJet Engineering and Maintenance team.
- As a B1 Licensed Engineer, you will be assigned tasks by the Duty Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor in accordance with approved maintenance documentation.
- Key responsibilities include demonstrating technical knowledge of aircraft, hand skills required to carry out tasks, and competent use of aircraft maintenance documentation and computer-based reporting systems.
- You will also be responsible for supervising small teams as required by the operation and work requirement.
- Additionally, you will be expected to hold a UK Part 66 B1 license and authorisation or equivalent on company aircraft, with up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation and a minimum of 3 years operational experience in a line maintenance environment.
- Attributes and skills required for this role include proven ability to communicate issues to management, high degree of customer focus, ability to work effectively in a team and independently, flexibility to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems, and a working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
