Fitter and Assembler Job Summary:

THWAITES LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Fitter and Assembler to join our team in our assembly department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for building Dumpers in our 2.3T to 9T model range, ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Use hand-held tools and own skills to assemble painted steel components and supplier components.
• Ensure all finished machines meet the required quality standards.
• Follow established procedures to maintain efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of vehicle hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Good mechanical skills and ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to work in various positions, including kneeling, lying down, and overhead.
