BAUER KOMPRESSOREN GmbH is seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our IT security strategy, ensuring the security of our IT infrastructure, and managing security systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT security strategy, focusing on current threats and state-of-the-art security solutions
  • Secure entire IT infrastructure, including servers, clients, networks, mobile devices, internet portals, cloud services, VPN, and backup systems
  • Operate and optimize security systems, including EDR, MDR, penetration testing, email security, and firewall
  • Conduct security analyses, vulnerability assessments, and vulnerability remediation
  • Manage backup and disaster recovery processes
  • Ensure compliance with NIS2 requirements, including risk analyses, security measures, incident management, and emergency manual
  • Integrate security requirements into IT and company processes
Requirements
  • Degree in computer science or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in IT security, ideally in a production environment with OT
  • Knowledge of network security, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, penetration testing, system administration, and email security
  • Experience with security systems such as EDR, MDR, penetration testing, email security, and firewall
  • Familiarity with NIS2 guidelines and their implementation
  • Business fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
