Job Summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Russell Group Graduate to join our team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable experience in education and support students in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with students who require additional support, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Support the class teacher in lessons and contribute to the development of students' skills and knowledge
  • Run intervention sessions and booster groups to support students who need extra help
  • Be involved in running extracurricular activities and contribute to the school's enrichment program
  • Write reports and provide feedback to teachers, SENCO, external agencies, and parents

Requirements

  • Hold a degree from a Russell Group University in any subject
  • No previous education experience is required, but a passion for education and working with students is essential
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Hold the right to work in the UK
