About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Culinary Director to lead our culinary team and deliver exceptional food experiences for Defence on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Compass Group UK&I, a leading provider of food and support services.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in creating delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers. They will be responsible for preparing menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present menus for approval by senior management
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to achieve high standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements
  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor
