We are in search of a Power Systems Application Specialist whose primary focus will be on Power Conversion Systems (PCS). This role offers the flexibility of hybrid remote work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Power Systems Application Specialist, your duties will encompass:

  • Collaborating with the Product Manager to serve as the liaison between Hardware Engineering and Product Management, as well as Sales Engineering and Delivery in your area of expertise.
  • Partnering with Hardware and Software Engineering teams to aid in the development of new suppliers and products.
  • Offering support to the Sales and Proposals teams, along with the Delivery and Service teams.
  • Assisting the Delivery team with inspections, troubleshooting, and other specialized tasks at suppliers and in the field as necessary.
  • Creating technical documentation for products, including application notes and contributions to product manuals.
  • Providing customer insights and market requirements to the Product Management organization for ongoing product development and portfolio management.

Responsibilities may be tailored based on your unique skills and interests. You will be part of a diverse team within Product Management and Application Engineering.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Power Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Energy Storage or Renewable Energy sector.
  • Experience in Quality Control and Manufacturing of Power Electronics is advantageous.
  • Recent graduates may also be considered based on their qualifications.
  • Proficiency in addressing customer needs and challenges.
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationships with customers, colleagues, and vendors in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset both internally and externally.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
