About the Role

The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a procurement professional to lead the non-clinical procurement function and drive savings across the Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage non-clinical procurement across the Trust, including IT, Estates and Facilities.
  • Lead the non-clinical procurement team and provide guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve savings and improve efficiency.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop procurement solutions.
  • Advise and coach colleagues on procurement best practices and policies.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in procurement, preferably in non-clinical areas.
  • Strong knowledge of public sector frameworks and their use.
  • Ability to rapidly understand construction procurement and Facilities management.
  • Team management experience and willingness to work as a fully committed member of the procurement management team.
