About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Education Support Professional to join our team at a primary school in Swindon. As a Senior Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the growth of young learners and contributing to a vibrant educational community.

This permanent position starts in September on a full-time basis, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. You will have the opportunity to work with a mixed Reception and Year 1 class, covering absent teachers and supporting classes across the primary phase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the emotional, physical, and educational development of pupils.
  • Covering absent teachers and supporting classes across the primary phase.
  • Participate in planning, delivery, and monitoring of individual education plans.
  • Develop effective relationships with pupils to achieve learning targets.
Requirements
  • Proven experience working in a primary school environment.
  • Ability to cover classes and deliver lessons as per teacher plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with pupils and colleagues.
