Warwickshire County Council is seeking an experienced Independent Scrutineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of the Families First for Children Pathfinder Programme. About the Role

As an Independent Scrutineer, you will provide expert scrutiny and advice to our partnership, ensuring that we are delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our children and families. You will work closely with our senior leadership team, partners, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with our partners, ensuring that we are working collaboratively to achieve our safeguarding goals.
• Analyse complex information and provide robust scrutiny and challenge to our partnership.
• Have a detailed understanding of relevant law, statutory guidance, and regulations.
• Have knowledge and understanding of effective partnership working in safeguarding children.
