About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Independent. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
  • Create attractive food and counter displays that showcase our culinary expertise
  • Represent Chartwells - Independent and maintain a positive brand image
  • Handle cash and operate the cash register with accuracy and efficiency
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations

Shift Patterns

As a Catering Assistant, you will work a variety of shifts, including 5 out of 7 days. We offer a range of shift patterns to suit different lifestyles and preferences.

Requirements

  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude and a desire to succeed
  • Ability to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in a similar catering-related role (not essential)
