Position Summary:The Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular Critical Care unit provides specialized care for patients with critical cardiovascular conditions, including those recovering from cardiac surgery, heart attacks, and other serious cardiac events.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and assess patient condition, vital signs, and cardiac status.
- Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support as required.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on condition management and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Operate and troubleshoot complex cardiovascular monitoring equipment.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform critical interventions.
- Active RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience in critical care or cardiovascular nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
