Electrical Maintenance Technician Job Description

At Mitie Telecoms, we're seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Birmingham/Wolverhampton and surrounding regions. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our telecoms sites.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks on telecoms sites.
  • Undertake minor reactive maintenance work as necessary.
  • Participate in a callout rota with additional remuneration.
  • Conduct "At Height" checks and ground-level maintenance of cabin and compound.
  • Assist the site team in ensuring compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Be willing and able to work and stay away from home.
  • Overtime and weekend working may be required.
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified 18th Edition IEE regulations.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance or NVQ 3 Electrical installation.
  • Desirable: 52 Test and Inspection, IPAF, and PASMA.
  • Able to work at heights of up to 3 meters and lift weights of up to 25kg.
  • Effective prioritization of workload.
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Full UK driving license.
